Gunmen in Nigeria released an Israeli expatriate on Monday, nearly a week after he was kidnapped from his home in Nigeria's oil hub, police and security officials said. Four gunmen abducted the 60-year-old project manager, who works for Israeli construction firm Gilmor Engineering Limited, in the southern city of Port Harcourt on August 26.
"We can confirm. He has been released and he is looking healthy," said Lieutenant Colonel Sagir Musa, spokesman for the military task force in Rivers state.
