Punjab Auqaf department has arranged for special prayers at all mosques and mausoleums in the province in connection with the Defence Day commemoration on September 6. A spokesman of the department said that after Fajr prayers, special sittings would be held to pray for the solidarity of the nation and progress of the country.
Religious scholars would lead the prayers and pay homage to the brave fighters and martyrs of 1965 war who sacrificed their lives for the integrity of the motherland.
