Under the directives of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, a large quantity of urea fertiliser has been made available for the growers of Hyderabad District at government controlled price. This has been said by DCO Hyderabad Ali Ahmed Lund in his press statement issued here on Friday.
The DCO Hyderabad said that urea fertiliser distribution centres one each in Tandojam and Hyderabad had been established by the District Government Hyderabad where the fertiliser was being provided to the growers at government controlled price under the supervision of Revenue Officers.
The DCO advised the growers to visit the centres for buying the fertilisers at government controlled rate and added that in case of any difficulty in getting fertiliser, they should contact with the EDO Revenue on telephone Nos.022-9200976, 022-9200244, 022-9200570, Cell No 0321-2420108 and said that the growers can also contact with him (DCO) on telephone Nos.022-9200112-3 and 022-9200115-6.
He said that this large quantity of fertiliser had been made available at Hyderabad due to efforts of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah in the response of simple request made by the District Government Hyderabad. He said that now there would be no shortage of fertiliser in the district for which integrated efforts had already been made. However, the co-operation of the growers and fertiliser manufacturing companies was essentially required to meet these challenges faced by the grower community.
