08 Sep, 2008

Ahsan Iqbal, PML-N information secretary, said on Sunday that PML-N enjoyed majority in Punjab Assembly without seeking support of Pakistan People's Party. "But some elements in PPP are trying to create mistrust and they should be taken to task by the party's leadership", he said while talking to APP.
He said that PML-N was still avoiding to pay in the same coin so as to defuse the critical political situation created during last few months, "but it should not be considered our weakness."
He said that it was mandatory for both political parties to pay due respect to the Charter of Democracy. He said that all political parties have important role to keep the democracy flourishing in the country.
He said PPP is in a position to reinstate all deposed judges to resolve the judicial crisis. He also appreciated holding of presidential election in a smooth manner.
