The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has suspended Syed Ejazuddin Ashrafi, Principal Appraiser, Model Customs Collectorate of PACCS, Karachi, with immediate effect. According to a notification issued here on Saturday, the competent authority/member (Administration) has placed Ashrafi a (BS-16) officer of Customs and Excise Group under suspension.
The board has used powers conferred under section 4 of the Removal from Service (Special Powers) Ordinance, 2000 to implement the decision.
