Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed, who returned home after lifting the ICC Champions Trophy, received a hero’s welcome at Karachi airport.
Mayor Karachi, Waseem Akhtar and Governor Sindh, Muhammad Zubair welcomed Sarfraz Ahmed and pacer Rumman Raees at the Jinnah International airport and greeted them with traditional presents of Ajrak and Sindhi Topi.
Sarfraz Ahmed in a short statement said, “(We won) thanks to Allah and the prayers of the whole nation.”
Sarfraz reached his home in Bufferzone, where a huge crowd was gathered to see him, there were Pakistan flags, chants of Pakistan Zindabad to stir the air with emotions. It took around half an hour for him to enter his house.
He reached his balcony along with the Championship trophy and started answering the chants of the crowed. He also sung famous ‘muka muka’ song.`
