On the special instructions of Chief Minister Punjab, the dialysis facility has been started to the deserving kidney patients in Allied Hospital free of cost and necessary arrangements have been made in this regard. This was informed by Medical Superintendent (MS) Allied Hospital Dr Bashir Ahmad Rana here on Tuesday while talking to the newsmen.
He said that the air-conditioned dialysis centre in Allied Hospital was fully operational with specialist doctors and trained para-medical staff in which 10 dialysis machines were working there out of which three machines had been installed for the Hepatitis patients. He said the dialysis of the kidney patients were being carried out in three shifts and 15 to 20 patients were being provided with the facility of dialysis daily.
He said that the all out efforts were being made to look after the patients those were contacting for dialysis. He informed that in case of any complaint or problem confronted to the patients in this regard, he could be contacted directly for its redressal.
Meanwhile the social circles and general public have thanked the Chief Minister's welfare steps of restarting the dialysis facilities in government hospitals free of cost and praised people friendly-policies of Punjab government.
