KCCI co-opts three managing committee members

The managing committee of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) on Thursday co-opted Anjum Nisar, Javaid Bilwani and Mohammed Ali against three vacant seats of the managing committee. Their co-option came after the resignation of Amin Bandukda, Abdullah Zaki and Khuram Saigal.
Sources said that President Shmaim Ahmed Shamsi, Senior Vice President Iftikhar Ahmed Shaikh and Vice President Haroon Agar are expected to file their resignation before September 30 to clear way for the newly co-opted members to become president, senior vice president and vice president of the chamber respectively.
Sources said that now the stage has been prepared to induct Anjum Nisar as President, Javaid Bilwani as Senior Vice President and Mohammed Ali as Vice President of the chamber. The newly co-opted members will act on ad hoc bases as president, senior vice president and vice president respectively for two months. After the annual elections of the chamber they will be elected as president, senior vice president and vice president of the chamber.
