21 Sep, 2008

People from various lifestyles have stressed the need of developing a strong political structure and common approach on burning national and international issues in the country. They are fully aware of the fact that presently country was confronting with multifarious internal and external issues.
However, it was very unfortunate that leaders of almost all political parties were busy in number game and fanning Lotaism for playing nasty game just to de-stabilise the government of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz in Punjab. The neutralism of Punjab Governor has also gone with the wind because he was openly busy in speaking against the PML-N against the political norms.
It is a hard fact that Provincial Governor was busy in forming forward blocks just for dismantling the PML-N led government and to establish the government of 'Lota's'. Many people think that if the ruling junta believes in democracy, it should take immediate and appropriate steps for discouraging 'Lotaism' on permanent basis and stop the entry of 'Lota's' into the party in order to strengthen the political system and for the promotion of real democracy in the country.
They said that all political parties should jointly work for edging out the chances and practices of lotaism on permanent basis from the country to ensure a just political and democratic system in the country. Further, if the 'lotacracy' prevails, the existing present political system would be spoiled, they foresee.
A section of people observed that lotaism had always played a vital role in party strengthening and in the formation of government at both Provincial and Federal level. These circles had appealed to all heads of political to take necessary steps for debarring such members from participating in future general elections.
It has been observed that many Nazism and elected representatives were in the move of changing their party affliction just for getting for their personal gains. They called upon the political parties that they should refrain from patronising the lotaism and ensure fresh membership within the parties. Such elements are not trustworthy and their loyalties were always in rotation as well as they would betray any party for their personal gains.
Moreover, they held the view that such 'lota' elements had fully enjoyed the facilities and platform of the PML-Q and received popularity but unfortunately in a short span had changed loyalty for personal gains. The concern citizens of Pakistan suggested that it is national, political and moral duty of the heads of political parties that they should block the way of such black sheep for ensuring strong democracy and political structure in the country.
Expressing their confidence, they further said that political parties would adopt suitable measures to stop lotacracy on permanent basis in the country. In addition, they felt the need of preparing second line within the political parties for replacing the old faces and to ensure real democratic process for the promotion of democracy in the larger national interest.
The also demanded replacement of old political kings have become imperative at this critical juncture as the people are fed up with the dishonest old faces. Meanwhile, the workers and supporters of PML-N have appealed to Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and President PML-N Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif that immediate steps should be taken for purging the party from lotas, selfish and dishonest politicians in the larger national interest as well as to strengthen the party.
