Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif during a briefing of Sigma Company here on Sunday has emphasised that there should be no delay in computerisation of land record in the province. He said companies with good repute to deal with it should be asked for their services in this connection.
On the occasion, the CM constituted two committees headed by Chief Secretary and Chairman P&D for the purpose. The CM said that project of land registry would be outsourced in the province and thew information department would provide all facilities to the companies in this connection. He asked the provincial government to complete the project in 16 to 18 months instead of 24 months.
Shahbaz said that establishing of government land revenue computerisation projects remained one of the top priorities of his government.
Earlier, representatives of Sigma Company giving the briefing to CM said that they could complete projects of land registry and e-government in two-year period. They said that a command room for purpose of e-government containing information of all departments of Punjab would be established.
