Pakistan Jamhoori Tehrik (PJT) organised on Sunday a rally to condemn suicide blasts that killed about 53 innocent people and injured nearly 300 others at Islamabad Marriot Hotel on Saturday evening. The participants of the rally gathered at main office of PJT and after marching on various roads, culminated at Meezan Chawk where it turned into a public meeting.
They carried placards and held banners inscribed with slogans against suicide attacks and condemnation of killing of innocent people. Addressing the occasion, president PJT, Syed Faqeer Agha and other leaders fulminated against suicide attackers and their masterminds. They termed such attacks against humanity, Islam and Pakistan and lashed out at planners of such inhuman acts.
Further, the Pakistan Jamhoori Tehrik (PJT) leaders said Islam terms the killing of an innocent human life as tantamount to killing of the whole humanity. Adding, the planners and executors of suicide attacks against innocent people were against Islam and Pakistan.
They also claimed that the morale of the nation was too high and executors of terrorist activities would never succeed to implement their malicious designs in the country.
