Soomro and Jamali condemn bomb blast

The Chairman Senate Muhammad Mian Soomro and Deputy Chairman Senate Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali on Sunday strongly condemned the bomb blast occurring here on Saturday evening which claimed many precious and innocent lives besides causing extensive damage to property.
They expressed their deep grief and sorrow over the loss of lives and termed the incident as a cowardly act designed to demoralise the people, and to disrupt the process of development.
They said that such dastardly acts cannot weaken our resolve to combat terror in all forms and manifestations. They have appealed to the people to remain calm and united in order to foil the designs of the terrorists. "A tinny minority cannot hold hostage this 170-million strong nation, which will not submit before terrorists and extremists", they added.
The Chairman Senate and Deputy Chairman have also sympathised with the families of the victims. They prayed for eternal salvation of the departed souls and grant of fortitude to the members of the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.
