Criminals abroad: need stressed for strict laws to check movement

A UK judge Dr Amir Ali Majid stressed the need of making strict laws to check the movement of criminals abroad. Dr Amir, Judge Emigration, UK, delivering lecture on "Dishonouring Pakistan should be a crime" here at the LHCBA, said some criminals travelling to UK are maligning the name of Pakistan by disappearing or giving themselves to corrupt and illegal actions.
The need of the hour, he said is to make the emigration law more stringent and tight so that these criminals on being deported from Pakistan are not encouraged continuing the evil acts. Secretary bar, Rana Asadullah Khan and Member Pakistan Bar Council Hafiz Abdul Ansari also spoke on the occasion.
