US MIDDAY: wheat eases

December wheat was down 1 cent at $7.36-3/4 per bushel, March was down 1 at $7.56-3/4. Choppy, turned lower on profit-taking after a two-day rally. Declines in crude oil and gold add pressure, along with firmer US dollar. USDA said exporters sold 116,000 tonnes of US wheat to unknown for 2008/09, including 82,000 tonnes of hard red winter and 34,000 tonnes of hard red spring wheat.
