Kisan Board Pakistan (KBP) has urged the government to make sure availability of DAP fertilisers at the rate of Rs 2000 per bag before start of sowing of wheat crop. Otherwise wheat crisis would go from bad to worst and it would be difficult to meet the sowing and production target of wheat, said KBP President Sardar Zafar Hussein Khan in a statement issued here on Friday.
He said that phosphate fertilisers sale had reduced alarmingly during last eight months and the government should immediately pay attention towards this and make it sure that farmers could have DAP at Rs 2000 per bag, helping them to work for achieving the wheat sowing and production target.-PR
