Syed Qamar uz Zaman Shah, a leading agriculturist; has been appointed as the Chairman of Pakistan Horticulture Development and Export Board (PHDEB) by the Ministry of Commerce (MOC). According to PHDEB spokesman, Syed Qamar uz Zaman Shah has replaced Saadat Eijaz Qureshi. He shall be bringing a vast experience in the field of horticulture to PHDEB.
His hands on experience shall greatly benefit PHDEB in greatly exploring new markets and methodology in the field of horticulture development, export and of the allied items, which will greatly benefit the local farmers and exporters of horticulture product, while earning additional foreign exchange.
Zaman Shah is engaged with PHDEB since its establishment zealously. His approaches led the Board towards new dimensions. He actively participated in revitalising Agri-resources and image building for Pakistani horti-produce, the spokesman added. Zaman Shah, not only, played an important role in the process of evaluation and revolution of his family business but vigorously contributes in many activities of Pakistan's Business and Economic progress.
