President's meetings with world leaders very fruitful: foreign minister

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Friday said President Asif Ali Zardari had very positive and productive meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of the 63rd United Nations General Assembly. Talking to PTV, he said President Zardari put across Pakistan's viewpoints on various issues in a frank and candid manner in his address to the General Assembly session.
He said the president also had fruitful discussions with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Afghan President Hamid Karzai. To a question, he termed his meetings with Foreign Ministers of Australia, Germany and France as constructive and said these contacts would produce positive results.
