Head of Jamat-e-Islami (JI), Qazi Hussain Ahmad, expressed his grave concerns over the chaotic situation across the country, which has continued during the whole holy month of Ramazan, moreover he said that no religious fervour is being observed this year over the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
In his message on the occasion of Eid Hussain criticised the government that it has imposed US war on its own people, which claimed countless precious lives of defenceless people of Fata and Bajaur, adding that such huge mass displacement has been observed first time ever in the history of Pakistan from Bajaur and other war torn areas.
He further said that people, who voted for a democratic change in the country and had high expectations with newly elected government that it would bring peace in their areas and raise their standard of living too, but contrary to all expectations the government has shown its true colour by following the policies of the previous leadership and plunged the country into civil war like situation.
Qazi opined that price hike of commodities of daily use and other utilities including electricity, gas are gifts of a new elected democratic government to people of Pakistan this year, which have forced people to observe the Eid festival under severe financial burden.
