Train march gets tumultuous response: Qazi

The second leg of the Train march of Jamaat-i-Islami (JI), led by its Amir Qazi Hussain Ahmad, left for Multan from Lahore here on Wednesday. Liaquat Baluch, Syed Munawar Hassan, Syed Amir-ul-Azeem, Azhar Iqbal Hassan senior leaders of JI and large number of activists of the party are accompanying the Jamaat Amir.
Speaking on the occasion Qazi said that the purpose of the March is to awake the nation to develop unity and solidarity without which territorial integrity and sovereignty can never be sustained. Qazi averred that their Train March received tumultuous response from the masses as they found ray of hope in this movement.
Moreover, he added that their party would play its due role to thwart conspiracies against it, adding that only US is responsible for disestablishing the whole region, because it has made fatal miscalculations to handle the terrorism, which dearly expanded the phenomena in the region, which now seem toughest task to handle it. He said that the aim of this train march is to develop unity among the nation to root out this menace.
He declared that his party would hold a countrywide congregation at Minar-e-Pakistan from October 24 to 26. He further said that leaders of international Islamic movements would also participate in this congregation.
