Pakistani doctors leave for India today

A delegation of Pakistani doctors is leaving for India on October 9 (Thursday) to participate in the 9th Annual Meeting of International Conference of South Asian Congress of Forensic Medicine, Forensic Science & Toxicology. The South Asian Congress is being held under the auspices of Indian Congress of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology from October 10 to 12.
The delegation headed by Professor Dr Abdur Rasheed Mian, head of Forensic Department, Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI), the other members include Professor Saeed Malik of KEMU, Dr Zahid Bashir of Agha Khan University Karachi, Dr Pervez, Dr Abdul Ghani, Dr Mudassar Abbasi and Dr Adnan Bashir.
The delegation will leave by Samjhota Express. It is pertinent to note that the Award Committee has nominated Professor Abdur Rasheed Mian of PGMI for lifetime Achievement Award in the recognition of his services in the field of forensic medicines. Out of 107 countries only three doctors have been nominated for the award and Pakistani doctor Professor Abdur Rasheed Mian is one of them.
