Famous Indian Punjabi pop singer, Dalair Mehdi has announced that he had given the copyrights of his latest album 'Bismillah' to the Government of Pakistan so that it could use the income generated through the right for charity purposes. Mehdi was addressing a press conference at Lahore Press Club on Thursday. He expressed the hope that people of Pakistan would like his album.
Further, Mehdi said that his meeting with Pakistan's President, Asif Ali Zardari was successful. The singer informed Business Recorder that he had done a lot of charity work in India and had planted 0.8 million trees in New Dehli to promote healthy environment and to control pollution.
