Chief Minister Punjab Mian Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif has approved the revival of cancelled 19 plots without imposition of any penalty in favour of the bidders in New Fruit Market Multan. The allottes shall be bound to deposit the outstanding dues within a period of three years in equal six monthly instalments.
Agriculture Department (Marketing Wing) of Govt. of the Punjab has issued notification, in this regard. The revival of plots was the long-standing demand of the shopkeepers of Fruit and Vegetable Market, Multan, which was strongly recommended by Punjab Auqaf Minister and MPA from area Haji Ehsan Uddin Qureshi.
Now at New Fruit Market Plot have been allotted to: No 125 to Mst. Saeeda Bibi, Plot No 105 to Abdul Hameed Chohan, Plot No 110 to Mohammad Ejaz, Plot No 70 to Mohammad Yameen, Plot No 80 to Haji Mohammad Meraj, Plot No 145 to Mohammad Tahir Kamran, Plot No 155 to Hafiz Karim Bakhash, Plot No 190 to Mureed Hussain, Plot No 185 to Muhammad Aslam, Plot No 115 to Muhammad Arif, Plot No 165 to Chaudhry Abdul Hameed, Plot No 85 to M. Bilal, Plot No 100 to Muhammad Asif, Plot No 135 to Ikran Uddin, Plot No 120 to Ehsan Elahi, Plot No 90 to Shabir Ahmad, Plot No 210 to Haji M. Bashir, Plot No 15 to Nasir Shakoor and Plot No 45 allotted to Haji Abdul Hameed. These 19 beneficiaries would pay their dues in equal six monthly instalments in a period of 3 years.
On this occasion President Fruit and Vegetables Market, Sheikh Muhammad Safdar and other shopkeepers chanted slogans in favour of government. They called on Punjab Auqaf Minister, Haji Ehsan Uddin Qureshi and thanked him for taking keen interest in this matter.
