'Improvement in law and order situation must to attract foreign investment'

The Chairman Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF) Irfan Qaiser Sheikh has said that Parliamentarians should sit together to find out ways and means to overcome the fear factor that has shackled the economy of the country for last many months.
While addressing a business gathering held in connection to discuss the economic meltdown he said the awful law and order situation has destroyed the whole economic structure. The suicide attacks at almost every part of the country have created an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty. The improvement in law and order situation is a necessary to attract the foreign investment and encourage the local businessmen, as the situation is worsening with every passing day that is a negative omen for economy, he added.
The PIAF chairman said that country was facing a number of challenges, as he feared if timely steps were not taken, whole situation would go out of control. He said that the government should take solid measures to improve law and order situation so that the process of industrialisation and foreign investment could be accelerated.
PIAF Vice Chairman Iqbal Baig Chughtai and former PIAF Chairman Mian Abuzar Shad, LCCI former presidents Mian Shafqat Ali, Mian Anjum Nisar, former, Lahore Township Industries Association Chairman Amjad Ali Java and a large number of LCCI Executive Committee members were also present on the occasion.
