Pakistan's National Security Advisor Mehmud Ali Durrani will hold talks with his Indian counterpart M K Narayanan here on Monday. Though specific agenda has not been spelled out for the talks by both the countries, the two dignitaries are expected to discuss contentious issues between the neighbouring countries at Hyderabad House.
Mehmud Durrani is visiting India for the first time as National Security Adviser. On his arrival here on Saturday, he said, "I have an open agenda. Friendship is my agenda."
"It is a pleasure being in Delhi. I am coming here after a number of years. I look forward to my meetings in Delhi. Meeting some old friends," he added. He is also scheduled to call-on Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and BJP President Rajnath Singh on Tuesday. Durrani will leave for Pakistan on October 15.
