Flour supply position reviewed

Punjab Minister for Food, Malik Nadeem Kamran, has said that flour was being supplied on daily basis to meet the requirement of NWFP and Balochistan and its quantity could be increased if requires. He said this, while presiding over a meeting of the Food Department here on Monday.
Secretary Food Irfan Elahi and Director Food Waseem Mukhtar were also present on this occasion. The minister stated that quality flour was being provided at the government fixed rates at all the sale points, Sunday bazaars, open market and tanoors through out the province.
'Samples were also being taken from all the flour mills of the province to ensure quality,' he added. Malik Nadeem Kamran expressed his satisfaction over the supply situation of flour in the province and said there was no shortage in the province anywhere.
