To ensure expedite process in release and stay matter Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed all the readers of the courts to attach prescribed time sheet proforma and record time and date of transmission of such cases to office.
The Chief Justice Syed Zahid Hussain also observed that before sending the cases back to the office the recorder shall ensure mentioning of parties' name of the case on the order sheets. The private secretaries/personal assistants attached to the LHC judges are required to mention serial number in respective column of order sheet before typing fresh/latest order and place/tag the same at proper place in seriatim order instead of appending it on the face of the file the Chief Justice directed.
CJ also directed that at the time of transmission of cases from one seat to another, to one branch to another branch specifically bail, release or injunction cases time and date of its transmission must be recorded on the time sheet by the dealing officials of the judicial branch.
Additional Registrar (Judicial) while circulating the office orders here on Tuesday said that the authorities have noticed that readers and the private secretaries/personal assistants are not complying with the instructions issued from time to time and made it clear that non-compliance of the orders by any employee of the establishment would entail stern disciplinary proceedings.
