President Asif Ali Zardari's visit to China will prove as a milestone in Pak-China friendly relations and bilateral as well as economic trade and defence relations between the two countries would be further strengthened. Punjab Minister for Population Welfare Neelam Jabbar Chaudhry said this while talking to various delegations here on Tuesday.
Neelam told the delegations that founding Chairman of the Pakistan People's Party Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was the architecture of the Pak-China friendship and this friendship would be strengthened with President Asif Ali Zardari's visit.
Neelam said that Pakistan and China had very good relations and the visit of the democratically elected President would also enhance the co-operation between the two countries in various sectors, especially in economic, strategic, communication and energy sectors. She said that Pakistan itself was the victim of the terrorism and extremism and was fighting against terrorism with full commitment.
She said those bilateral relations between China and Pakistan would be further improved in times to come. She further said the present regime took over the government affairs in a very critical geo-political and economic situation, however, due to effective measures, adopted by the government, the law and order situation had improved.
