This spate of mindless insane violence, today threatens our survival as a sovereign state. Our enemies across the border are exploiting the rampant greed and corruption, which can make some of us do anything for a price. Our military rulers of the past namely Zia-ul-Haq and Musharraf are responsible for erosion of our moral values, our institutions and putting at stake the security of Pakistan, to prolong their illegitimate rule.
They promoted a culture where corruption became an accepted way of life and use of violence a tool to promote their political ambitions. The country was intentionally divided on sectarian and ethnic bases so that no political party can pose a threat to their illegitimate hold on the Federation.
Today we suffer for we endured these usurpers who destroyed our nation's peace and security for their insatiable greed. The jinni of terrorism has become a problem for us today. Be it the misconceived notions of jihad, or brainwashing by our enemies with connivance of some of our own. This evil has to be eradicated from our society. However, while doing so, we need to realise that no innocent blood is split. The Pathans are known for their traditional revenge, to avenge the murder of their kith and kin. Our law enforcement agencies must be very careful, in performance of their difficult task to restore law and order.
All Madrassahs must be strictly regulated by the state and those who fail to submit must be closed down without any exception. The scourge of corruption, nepotism and abuse of power must be eliminated, for we have paid too heavy price, for the few who benefit from these evils. This country must gear itself to serve its citizens without any discrimination as to caste , creed, faith or sex.
We must invest in education and health to promote our human resources, which is our biggest asset. All appointments and policies must be based on merit alone and not on political recommendations. It is also time to restore the confidence of the people of Pakistan in our judiciary by restoring the pre 3rd November judiciary. The President of Pakistan and others must not make this an issue any longer, for the danger that threatens our nation requires everybody to chip in.
