Arabica coffee futures trading on ICE moved up 3 percent in early trade continued support from the weak dollar and on a US government injection of cash to major banks that was positive to outside markets, traders said.
Arabica coffee for December delivery was up 2.65 cents, or 2.7 percent, at $1.203 per lb, by 9:14 am EDT (1314 GMT). Trading range from $1.1885 to $1.2110. Benchmark December cocoa was up $27, or 1.2 percent, at $2,304 per tonne by 9:14 am, moving from $2,297 to $2,330.
