Lal Masjid case hearing put off till November 11

The Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has adjourned the hearing of 26 cases against Maulana Abdul Aziz, former 'Khateeb' (chief cleric) of Lal Masjid, his wife Ume Hassaan, two daughters Tayyaba Ad-Dua and Asma Ad-Dua till November 11.
Judge of the ATC No 1 Chaudhry Habibur Rehman resumed the hearing of 21 cases against Maulana Abdul Aziz and six cases against Umme Hassaan, Tayyaba Ad-Dua and Asma Ad-Dua, Maulana Sadiq and Abdul Qayyum of Jamia Fareedia here on Wednesday.
The cases were registered against the accused by Islamabad Police in Aabpara, Margalla, Kohsar and Bara Kahu Police Stations in various cases including murder of Rangers, abduction of police personnel, firing on security officials, burning and destroying shops and kidnapping of Pakistani and Chinese nationals. All accused except Maulana Abdul Aziz were produced before the court. But the prosecution and defence lawyers not appeared before the court and the learned judge adjourned the hearing till November 11.
