Demonstration against genocide of Christians in India

The National Christian Party staged a demonstration outside the Karachi Press Club (KPC) on Sunday to protest against the growing incidents of genocide of Christians by the extremist Hindus in Orissa and Karnataka in India.
The protestors displayed placards and banners and chanted slogans against the treatment meted out with the Christian minority in India and burning of the churches there.
Speaking on the occasion, the head of the National Christian Party, Bashir Shafqat, said that the homes and places of worships of the minorities are not safe in India. He said that the extremist Hindus have resorted to killings and burning of churches and homes of Christians in India.
