China on Tuesday reiterated that it would continue to cooperate with Pakistan in its endeavour toward civilian nuclear energy field. "I have repeated on many occasions that we have sound co-operation and relations with Pakistan," said the Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang while responding to a question on Pakistan-China relations.
Qin told a regular press briefing held at the Foreign Office: "We would like to continue this co-operation on the basis of equality and mutual benefit." He pointed out that such co-operation was for peaceful purpose and was consistent with the two countries respective international obligations and is subject to IAEA supervision.
