Islamabad Electricity Supply Company (IESCO) on Tuesday issued the schedule of power shut down for construction/annual maintenance and remodelling of T/Lines at different areas of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
According to an IESCO announcement, the power supply will remain suspended on Wednesday (October 22) from 8. 00 am to 12'00 Noon, Morgah-1 Feeder; Park View Feeder; from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm, PHED Feeder, Water Supply Scheme Dharwaja, Pearl Continental Feeder, PC Hotel, Gharial Camp, PAF Feeder, Army Area, PAF Base.
On Thursday (October 23) from 9.00 am, to 1.00 pm; Company Bagh Feeder, Banasra Gali, Ghora Gali, Company Bagh, Treat, Gharial Feeder, Gharial Camp, Kashmiri Bazar, Sher Bagla, Mohra Shari, Rawat, Osia, Dewal; Upper Topa Feeder, Kashmir Point, Ghora Phaprel, Lower Topa;
On Saturday (October 25) from 9.00 am to 1. 00 pm; Pindi Point Feeder, Chitta More, Radio Pakistan, Numble, Berot Feeder, Kohala Bazar, Pattan Kalan, Berot, Basian, Patriata Feeder, Kotli Sattian, Vegal, Patriata, Ban. Moreover, power shut down will remain on 132-KV Sangjani-KTM Tranmsision Line due to its remodelling from Thursday (October 23) 7.00 am to Sunday (October 26) 7 00 pm.
However, the power supply will remain continue to its related grid stations Kamalabad and KTM from 500/ 200-KV Rawat Grid Station and no customer will suffer from this power shut down.
Meanwhile, the IESCO spokesman clarified disconnection of the power supply to the deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry'S residence on October 20 before his leaving for participation in sent off photo session ceremony at Supreme Court Bar Association. The spokesman did not say that nor IESCO aware about the said disconnection neither instruction was issued to any IESCO employee, as well as there was no disconnection at all.
