The Allahdin Group of Companies, Warble Private Limited and Welcon Chemicals Private Limited have started a campaign to imparts training and technical advice to farmers for increasing wheat production and getting maximum yields here on Saturday.
The campaign has been started from the regional offices of the companies in Lahore, Multan, Sahiwal, Toba Tek Singh, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan and Vehari under Warble Private Limited, while another programme is going to start from Sunday (today) at the regional offices of Lahore, Multan, Sahiwal, Vehari, Dera Ghazi Khan, Shiekhupura, Hyderabad, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur and Dera Ghazi Khan under Welcon Chemicals Private Limited.
Alladin Group of Companies' Market Development Manager Syed Bahadur Ali Shah told Business Recorder that keeping in view the shortage of wheat, the private sector has come forward to take on the challenge and support the government in its efforts.
Bahadur Shah said that under the said programme, experts would impart training to farmers. He said that during the campaign the farmers would be described and taught the use of all majors and minors methods and measures for increasing fertility of the soil. Moreover the farmer would be urged to use chemicals to control herbs in wheat crop, which consists of 30 to 40 per cent of the crops, he added.
