Pakistan Muslim League President, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that it is a good omen that leaders and members of different factions of Muslim League have started, talking about the merger to form one Muslim League. Unifying the splinters into one party would be a welcome sign for the democracy, country and the nation, he said.
However, he added, who will head the unified party is a secondary question and can be resolved with open hearts. Pulling the country out of current crisis situation is the most urgent and important task, he remarked.
Talking to a private TV channel Chaudhry Shujaat said that no one could deny this fact that getting together of the Muslim League would be in the interest of the country and the nation, but the problem was with its modus operandi, how and who should initiate it. Responding to a question, he said that there was no seventh man from six in the forward bloc of Muslim League-Q, who have no status and the talk of change of leadership would come to the fore in party election.
