The Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) on Wednesday singed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen mutual co-operation on Wednesday President KCCI Anjum Nisar and Chairman of KNCCI David Githere have inked the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
Both the chambers have agreed to build a dependable, pragmatic and advantageous relationship between the countries, and desired to initiate the establishment of friendly and cordial relations between these two organisations through an increased co-operation.
Moreover, they agreed to ensure maximum dissemination of information that could greatly help enhance bilateral trade relations between two organisations. In addition, they expressed their willingness to improve co-ordinated efforts to promote joint ventures, initiate partnerships, exchange technical expertise, introduce licensing possibilities in co-operation with board of investments of both countries and the respective diplomatic entities.
Furthermore, both parties agreed to open new avenues for investment and organise database to identify and promote products and services. Both showed their strong commitment to unequivocally call upon their respective governments to undertake sincere efforts to introduce confidence building measures so that trade opportunities are augmented, diplomatic initiatives could be developed, and geopolitical co-operation can be assured.
