Need of awareness against corruption in all sectors stressed

A seminar was held on the topic of "Say no to corruption" under the auspices of Liberal Forum Pakistan (LFP) in District Press Club Toba Tek Singh where speakers stressed the need of creating awareness among the public against corruption in both government and private sectors.
While addressing the seminar, former PML-N MNA Hamza, PML-N MPA Mian Muhammad Rafiq, former PPP leader Ghiasuddin Janbaz, PPP Gojra president Lala Ghulam Muhammad, district bar association president and secretary Mian Muhammad Shoaib and Sardar Iqbal Dogar respectively, MMA district secretary Mian Abdul Basit, Pakistan Kissan Committee central president Chaudhry Fateh Muhammad, Jamhoori Watan party Punjab secretary Madni Baloch, National Workers Party Punjab secretary Rana Azam, LFP president Tariq Mahmood and senior journalist Ihsan Burki termed the feudalism root cause of the corruption both in politics and society.
They demanded of the rulers to adopt simplicity to bring out Pakistan from economic crisis and to bring back into country their wealth which they had kept in foreign banks. MPA Mian Muhammad Rafiq criticised the district police for allegedly registration of fake and fabricated cases against poor people by accepting bribe. A resolution was also passed in the seminar in which Punjab chief minister was demanded to take notice of the rising corruption in government departments especially in police department.
