Punjab Minister for Culture and Youth Affairs, Dr Tanveer ul Islam has said that 50 percent increase in the salaries of young doctors announced by the Chief Minister, Punjab, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has delighted the doctors' community with a wave of satisfaction.
In a press release issued on Sunday, he said that on the directive of the CM, the government has been ensuring provision of free health facilities to the people in the government hospitals.
The Minister further said that Shahbaz is personally looking after the interests of doctors' community and has ordered effective measures to solve their problems.
The CM also assured the young doctors that recruitment of doctors would be made on regular basis in future. Dr Tanveer further urged the doctors not to launch protest as the government has accepted their demands.
