AJK Prime Minister inaugurates Rs 140 million Khari Sharif Complex

AJK Prime Minister Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan on Tuesday inaugurated Rs 140 million Khari Sharif Complex. Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Sardar Attique said that his government believed in practical working for the speedy uplift and progress of the liberated territory adding that the development works were in progress across AJK under the same spirit.
The Prime Minister on this occasion announced to install solar energy plants besides establishing basic health unit at Kharif Sharif Shrine complex for the facility of the pilgrims. He also announced an additional salary for one-month for the employees of AJK Auqaf and PWD departments in recognition of their outstanding performance at the gigantic development project.
He also announced the cash award of Rs 2000 each for the labourers who worked in three shifts round the clock on the project. It is pertinent to mention here that the project will cover the shrines of eminent mystic poet and author of renowned book Saif-ul-Malook Hazrat Mian Muhammad Bux (RA) and eminent saint, spiritual leader and the preacher of Islam Hazrat Baba Pera-Shah Ghazai, known as Dhamrian Wali Sarkar at Khari Sharif, Chachian, in outskirts of Mirpur city of Azad Jammu Kashmir.
Construction work on the project started about a couple of years ago by the AJK Auqaf Department, with the co-ordination of Public Works Department. The ceremony addressed among others by AJK Prime Minister Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan, Supreme Head of All Jammu Kashmir Muslim Conference and former Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan, minister for Auqaf Hamid Raza, minister for AKLASC Chaudhry Rukhsar Ahmed, Secretary Auqaf Sayeed Nazeer-ul-Hassan Gillani and Director General Auqaf Iqbal Muhi-ud-Din.
