Philippines share prices closed marginally higher on Wednesday as the market consolidated, possibly in preparation for another upturn, dealers said. The composite index rose 3.17 points to 2,006.21, while the all-shares index was up 0.8 percent 1,314.25 points.
There were 89 advancers, 20 decliners and 25 unchanged. Volume stood at 8.426 billion shares worth 2.6 billion pesos (55.07 million dollars).
