Cut in business hours for markets and shopping malls will badly hit the overall economy of the country and instead of taking any such decision, the government should utilise all available resources to increase power generation.
"Pakistan is a different country and the people are used to go out for shopping during night and if the shopping malls are closed early, there would be hardly any economic activity, therefore the government should avoid any such decision." The PIAF-Founders Alliance leaders Mian Anjum Nisar and Iftikhar Ali Malik stated this after having meetings with the business community of Anarkali and Neela Gunbad in connection with election campaign of PIAF-Founders Alliance. The Alliance leaders who spent two hours in the markets assured the businessmen that the Alliance would resist any such decision tooth and nail as it would not only give a bad name to the government but also increase the graph of poverty.
