Punjab government sends relief goods to Balochistan for quake victims

Provincial Minister Auqaf Punjab, Haji Ehsan Uddin Qureshi and DCO Fazeel Asghar on the instruction of Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif have sent two bogies of relief goods containing eatables and other daily used items to Balochistan for victims of earthquake.
While talking with Business Recorder, Auqaf minister said that Mian Shahbaz Sharif has taken a very right step by sending the relief goods to the people of Balochistan. He said that Balochistan is a very important part of our country and the series to send the relief goods to Balochistan from Punjab would continue till the completion of rehabilitation.
Ehsan Uddin Qureshi also appreciated the co-operation of the Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) and appealed that every citizen of the country should fully contribute his share in this hour of need. "Punjab government believes in humanity and social welfare, so whenever any affected people would call us, we will turn the direction of our resources towards him," he added.
Telling the details of the relief goods, DCO Fazeel Asghar said that we have sent 738 bags of flour, 300 beds and 264 packets of other eatables. He further told that about 64 bogies have been included in the relief train, which has been started from Rawalpindi. EDO (R) Hameed Ullah, DS Railway Amin Khalid and DMS Dr Tasleem Qureshi were also present on this occasion.
