14 MNAs on UK parliamentary study tour

A 14-member Parliamentary delegation from Pakistan is currently on a week long visit to UK to acquaint itself with the role and responsibilities of British Parliament and its members in the national, regional and constituency environments. The delegation is undertaking the visit on the invitation of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association to study world's oldest working democracy.
The major objectives of the visit include understanding how Parliament works at Westminster, and the relationship between national regional and local government within the UK. The Pakistani Parliamentarians will also visit constituencies to learn about the role of a Westminster MP in community setting. They will also explore relationship between MPs and the media.
The delegation comprise MNAs Muhammad Baleegh ur Rehman, Nasrullah Khan Bijarani, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Engineer Khuram Dastgir Khan, Liaquat Ali Khan, Noor Alam Khan, Sardar Salim Haider Khan, Sardar Muhammad Arshad Khan Laghari, Abdul Qadir Patel, Syed Nasir Ali Shah, Pir Dilawar Shah, Ms Khush Bakht Shujaat, Ms Saira Afzal Tarar, Sufyan Yusuf and Pildat representative Ms Aasiya Riaz. Last evening, Pakistan's High Commissioner to UK Mr Wajid Shamsul Hasan hosted a dinner in their honour.
