First convocation of Sir Adamjee Institute held

The first convocation of Sir Adamjee Institute Karachi was held recently at the institute's spacious, tastily decorated auditorium. Professor Dr Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui, Vice-chancellor, University of Karachi was the chief guest on the occasion. The Director, Cdr. Azhar Nisar (Retd) presented the address of welcome.
Present on the occasion were also Mis, Tariq Bawany, Omer H. Karim, Ahmed Chinoy and M. Arif Dossal, and office bearers of PME&WS & Commecs Educational Trust. The impressive event was attended by the successful candidates of MBA and BBA and their parents. The honourable chief guest conferred the degrees on the successful candidates. More than 70 graduates were awarded MBA/BBA degrees.
Speaking on the occasion, the vice-chancellor deplored that most of the institutes catering for business education at various levels were churning out only human robots, whereas the country needed leaders of noble characters and genuine social passion. The VC had a word of eulogy for the Memon community under whose aegis Sir Adamjee Institute was rendering laudable services in the field of tertiary education.-PR
