The President, International Association of Paediatrics, Dr Chok Wan Chan has said on Saturday that about 11 million children die every year before reaching the age of five. All these deaths happening globally are the sub-sequence of any tragedy of catastrophe, poverty and civic negligence that prompts diseases like diarrhoea, respiratory infection, malaria and AIDS.
