Punjab chief minister presented Rs two million cheque for quake victims

MPA Allauddin called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif at Chief Minister Secretariat here on Tuesday and presented a cheque of Rs 2 million for relief and rehabilitation of earthquake affectees in Balochistan. The Chief Minister lauded the generous help and assistance provided by elected representatives and public to their brethren in Balochistan in their hour of need.
He said that relief assistance, including tents, blankets, food items, and medicines were being sent from Punjab to Balochistan through train and trucks and this process would continue until complete rehabilitation of the calamity-hit people.
Chairman Task Force Ahmad Hasaan was also present on the occasion. Meanwhile, Shahbaz expressing grief over bomb blast in Peshawar. In a condolence message, the Chief Minister said that terrorist elements would not be able to achieve their nefarious ends through such cowardly acts.
