German football flushed after Euro 2008 windfall

The German Football Federation (DFB) made a profit of 6.6 million euros (8.3 million US dollars) for reaching June's Euro 2008 final in Vienna, team manager Oliver Bierhoff revealed Friday. In total, the DFB received 19 million euros (24 million US dollars) from UEFA for reaching the final, where they lost 1-0 to Spain.
