Terry injury doubt as Chelsea march on

John Terry figured in Fabio Cappello's squad for next week's friendly against Germany but he may be forced to withdraw due to a foot injury sustained in Saturday's 3-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns.
The England captain was substituted towards the end of Chelsea's record-breaking tenth successive away win in the Premier League and must now undergo a scan to determine his fitness for Wednesday's meeting with Germany in Berlin.
Terry could head at least three Chelsea absentees from Capello's squad, with Ashley Cole not fit enough to link-up with the squad, despite being on the substitutes bench at the Hawthorns and Joe Cole still a week away from a return to action. Although Luiz Felipe Scolari assured England's Italian coach that there is no suggestion of Terry being withdrawn because it is not a competitive international.
