ANP satisfied with progress of parliamentary committee: Masood

State Minister for Local Government and Rural Development Masood Abbas has said that Awami National Party (ANP) is satisfied with the progress made by the parliamentary committee on national security. Talking to a private TV channel, he said that, " I am confident the parliamentary committee will achieve its desired goals and will deliver to the nation."
He said that all parties have participation in the committee so it is their collective responsibility to formulate a pro-active strategy for resolving all outstanding issues. "The ANP is satisfied with the pace of development made by the committee. The committee is constituted with consensus of all political parties, therefore, I am confidant it will come up to the expectation of the nation."
He said the government and the parliament is answerable to the nation for their actions and is bound to implement the recommendations of the committee. Replying to a question, he said that the committee will succeed in solving the prevailing problems.
