Three killed in violent acts

At least three people were killed in different incidents in city on Monday. Police sources told Business Recorder that 40-year-old unknown man was shot dead in an encounter when he was fleeing after committing theft near Gulistan-e-Jauhar. Later, his body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for post-mortem.
In another incident, 35-year-old, Aleemuddin son of Saleemuddin, resident of Rizvia Society was gunned down by unknown assailants when he was standing outside his home. Later, the body of deceased was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for an autopsy.
In yet another incident, 40-year-old Muhammad Asif son of Muhammad Shoukat was shot dead in the limits of Nazimabad police station. The police sources told he was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment from where he was referred to Liaquat National Hospital (LNH) due to serious bullet wounds, he succumbed to his bullet injuries.
